The Challenge: Dave Kerpen and Carrie Fisher wanted to get married and invite everyone they've ever known to come celebrate with them. They didn't want to go broke, and they wanted to incorporate their personalities into their event in a unique way.
The Solution: Create Our Field Of Dreams

Dave and Carrie love Brooklyn, Baseball and each other.
They decided to combine these three loves and come up with an exciting, fun-loving event that was able to offset the cost of their wedding due to the buzz generated by the concept-- A sponsored wedding on a baseball field.
The Result: In addition to a wonderful wedding which was covered through the costs of sponsors, Dave and Carrie received four national pieces on the wedding, including ABC World News Tonight, CBS Early Show, Advertising Age, and CNBC On The Money. They received press on hundreds of local news and radio stations, as well as various blogs across the country. Their website had over 300,000 hits in a three month period. The Cyclones saw a lift in ticket sales, and the sponsors received exposure beyond their wildest imaginations. In addition, the couple was able to raise $20,000 for the David Wright Foundation, a charity set up to combat Multiple Sclerosis. This wedding led to the full time launch of theKBuzz, and was considered a flawless marketing success.
